In 2003, the Coalition published A Case for Improving the Massachusetts Local Public Health Infrastructure, which presented deficiencies in local public health infrastructure.  The report also provided ways to strengthen these deficiencies.

In 2006, the Coalition published Strengthening Local Public Health in Massachusetts, which highlighted the workforce deficiencies in local public health in Massachusetts.

In response to the state's fiscal situation and town budget debates taking place in every municipality in Massachusetts, the Coalition in 2009 developed a Communication Toolkit for Local Public Health Officials.
