Food Safety and Quality Auditor
ESI is a leading food safety and quality assurance consultant organization.
ESI offers service programs to food manufacturers, processors, and retailers
including supermarkets, institutions and restaurants.
Services include work habit and processing audits; HACCP, Process Safety
System, Food Defense System, sSOP and GMP development, auditing and training.
We are accepting resumes for an auditor position. Successful candidate
will work in our Stoughton office. Duties and responsibilities include
audits, training and related activities to fulfill client needs.
Audit activities encompass evaluations of findings and observations
at plants, restaurants, and supermarkets. Training activities include hourly
worker food safety training, food protection certification exam preparation,
and HACCP. Audit and training activities also include administrative tasks.
Successful auditor candidate(s) must be computer literate. Familiar
with word processors (WordPerfect preferred), presentations and databases.
Successful candidates must also be free to travel. American Society for
Quality Certification as Auditor or HACCP auditor is a plus. Successful
candidate must be willing to become certified by ASQ, if not currently
certified.

The City of Peabody is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to work within the public school system and perform nursing services deemed necessary to contribute to the development of a healthy school community. General duties include but are not limited to health assessment, medical treatment and health counseling of students; medication administration; development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of individualized medication administration care plans and individualized health care plans; collaboration with other health care providers and school personnel regarding the health of students; providing emergency care to any individual in the case of injury or sudden illness; performing and/or overseeing all Massachusetts Department of Public Health mandated health screenings or activities; maintaining comprehensive school health records including computer data base program; prevention and control of communicable diseases within the schools; staffing immunization clinics and other public health related duties.

Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program Consultant

Duties & Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of the Regional Program Coordinator to facilitate and implement public health emergency preparedness planning and response activities/attain completion of public health emergency preparedness deliverables, in designated towns within the Region.
Attend designated town Local Boards of Health or other local/regional meetings as requested by the Regional Program Manager to provide information about Regional Public Health emergency planning activities to identify concerns/obstacles, and to elicit further support and compliance from the towns.
Update/create Emergency Dispensing Site plans, Continuity of Operations and other projects required through the CDC grant.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one year of full-time, or equivalent
part-time technical or professional experience in public health, emergency
management or emergency preparedness planning.
Substitutions: A degree with a major in emergency management, public health, or public administration may be substituted for a portion of the required experience. Education towards such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the portion of the requirements actually completed.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Based on this assignment, possession of a current and valid Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operators license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:

The Andover Health Division from time to time requires the assistance of part time, contract health professionals to serve on an as-needed basis. These professionals may be used to assist in completing health inspections, and assist at various health clinics, and may be called upon to fill in during regular staff vacations, assist during public health emergencies, or to supplement already available resources.
Health Inspector
Under the general direction of the Director of Public Health, performs
field inspections and investigates complaints in compliance with the State
Environmental Code and State Sanitary Code. Minimum qualifications include
a demonstrated knowledge of applicable codes, appropriate certifications
(Title 5 Soil Evaluator, Certified Food Safety Manager, Lead Determinator)
for the contracted duty. Previous experience in the contracted inspections
required. Inspectors are paid a flat rate of $25.00 per inspection.
Public Health Nurse
Under the general direction of the Director of Public Health, performs
clinical work in the field of public health. Minimum qualifications include
a thorough knowledge of clinical practice, disease prevention and treatment,
and a demonstrated ability to communicate with the general public and clients.
Must be licensed as a Massachusetts Registered Nurse. Nurses are paid at
a rate of $25.00 per hour.
