Winter 2025 Housing Inspector Training Course

Boston University will be providing a Tier 2 Training Opportunity 

 This training is designed for or intended for local public health professionals and is related to 105 CMR 410.000.

 

Tier 2 Winter 2025 Hybrid Housing Course

Four Sessions with 18 Hours of Total Learning Time

In Person Date & Time: (6 hrs + Lunch) January 15th at 8:00am-3:30pm

Venue: City Hall Annex (98 Washington St., Salem, MA 01970)

Virtual Dates & Time: (4 hrs/each) January 28th, 29th, and 30th at 8:30am-12:30pm

What Is Massachusetts Local Public Health Training Program?

A collaboration between The Office of Local and Regional Health, Boston University, and The Hub Training Program. The Local Public Health Training Program is designed to prepare the local public health workforce for the needs of their communities. It is a 3-tiered approach which includes self-paced courses (Tier 1), instructor-led courses (Tier 2), and applied practice: Training Hub Program (Tier 3). MA Local Public Health Training Courses are developed by

The Massachusetts Health Officers Association, the Massachusetts Environmental Health Association, the Massachusetts Association of Health Boards, and the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses, led by the Boston University School of Public Health and funded by the MDPH Office of Local and Regional Health. These food and housing courses will continue to be offered to local health professionals regularly, and additional courses including wastewater, recreational camps, pools, and more to follow.
