MHOA Dues Info + Conference Registration
MHOA is transitioning from a calendar year to a fiscal year dues cycle beginning July 1, 2026, as previously voted on by the Board of Directors and shared with the membership.
Early Bird Conference Registration for members only will open the next week. The information below outlines how member pricing for conference registration will work.

We hope you'll renew or join for FY27, and join us in Springfield for the annual conference!
Membership year: July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027
- $75 membership dues for members/supporters; $30 for students/retired members
- MHOA memberships are not pro-rated, regardless of when you join
- Memberships are by person, not organization
- Renew a group of people under one payor (health dept., SSA, etc.), but group discounts are not available. Contact Us to renew a group.
- A student is someone currently enrolled in a recognized or accredited college or university and not employed full-time in the public health profession.
FY27 membership dues renewals will be sent in June with reminders in July and August. MHOA allows for a grace period recognizing municipal bill paying takes time, especially around the turn of the fiscal year. If you choose the "pay by check" option and we don't receive the funds within 3 months, you won't be eligible for any member benefits, including conference registration discounts.
Conference Registration
Early Bird registration for this year's conference will open in early May for members only. If your MHOA membership isn't current, you're not eligible for Early Bird registration. If you join in May, your membership will expire June 30, 2026.
You must a current (2026) MHOA member to get early bird pricing. You also have to be an FY27 MHOA member at the time of the conference to get member pricing.
