Mentorship Program Applications Now Open!

We are excited to announce that applications for the 2027 MHOA Mentorship Program are now open! As we enter our fourth year, MHOA continues to build on lessons learned from previous years to ensure both mentors and mentees gain valuable insights, experiences, and opportunities to support their professional growth and career development.
What's New for 2027?
- A new application process for mentors. Individuals interested in mentoring will fill out a short application with information regarding their experience and expertise.
- We have transitioned to a new program timeline: January through August 2027.
- The program will continue its personalized matching process, including a brief 5–10 minute interviews with mentees.
Once matched, mentors and mentees will engage in ongoing monthly conversations throughout the 8-month program.
Who Should Apply?
Mentees
Local public health professionals who are new to the field, looking to transition or advance their careers, or seeking guidance on specific professional goals.
Mentors
Experienced local public health professionals interested in sharing their knowledge and supporting the career development of others.
